Baltic Sea Region Programme Conference 2012 in Lilleström (Oslo region), Norway, 19-20 September 2012 |
|
Achievements of transnational cooperation as well as planning the next programme period 2014-2020 are on the agenda of the stakeholders of the Baltic Sea Region Programme during the year 2012.
At the Programme Conference, we discussed what differences transnational cooperation can make when successful projects continue working as thematic clusters. We also looked into the future of the European Territorial Cooperation 2014-2020, and discussed the relationship between the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region and the Baltic Sea Region Programme 2014-2020.
The conference was part of the European Cooperation Day 2012 - European Cooperation celebrated all over Europe and in neighbouring countries! More at http://www.ecday.eu.
The European Union's Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013 promotes regional development through transnational cooperation projects. Partners in countries around the Baltic Sea work together to find joint solutions to common problems. Find out more at eu.baltic.net.
Thank you for the meeting in Norway – the dynamic Oslo region.
On behalf of the conference hosts: Norwegian Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development, Eastern Norway County Network and the Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013.
